Dear HEC Community in Germany,
We hope that you and your beloved ones are well.
This period saw many changes for all of us. We reaffirm our continued support and commitment to our community: Together, we strive to remain strong.
As per François Collin’s message early June - the HEC Germany Office is temporarily closed, as Olga Hein and Morgane Chouzenoux’s are pursuing new endeavours. The legacy left by the team remains and the life of our Alumni Community all around Germany continues, led by Alumni chapter Chair Arnaud Becuwe and a team of volunteers, including Claire Staudenmayer in Munich and Franck Fiebig in Berlin, and supported staff from HEC Paris International Relations & HEC Alumni.
Please be assured that we will continue to share news and connect with you all.
More globally, this is also a time for renewed leadership for Germany as it takes the Presidency of the Council of the EU this month - here is an interesting podcast in French on this matter. You can also read HEC Paris Professor Alberto Alemanno's views on Europe & freedom of movement in this article(The Guardian): "Millions of us built our lives on the promise of free movement. Under cover of coronavirus, that dream is disappearing". We look forward to exchanging ideas in the months to come.
If you have questions, suggestions, or wish to get involved as a volunteer for your city, please contact Arnaud Becuwe (Frankfurt); Claire Staudenmayer (Munich); Franck Fiebig (Berlin) or the HEC Alumni team.
Stay safe and best regards,
The HEC Germany Chapter,
