The International Development Club (CDI) is pleased to announce its next afterwork event, themed:
“Accelerating the Atlantic-to-Gulf Dynamic.”
On Tuesday, November 4, join us for an exceptional networking evening dedicated to exploring new cooperation opportunities between France and the Arabic-speaking world, spanning from the Atlantic Ocean to the Arabian Peninsula!
With nearly 473 million inhabitants and a combined GDP of USD 2.85 trillion, this vast economic area from Tangier to Muscat has become a major axis for investment, innovation, and sustainable partnerships.
Economic ties with France are strong and growing:
Non-oil trade with the United Arab Emirates reached €7.3 billion (+21% year-over-year)
Trade with Saudi Arabia exceeded €1.8 billion (OEC, 2024)
Bilateral exchanges between France and Morocco hit €7.4 billion in 2024, with total bilateral trade reaching a record €14.8 billion!
These figures highlight both the depth of the Franco-Arab partnership and its immense growth potential.
This event, held ahead of the Sixth France–Arab Countries Economic Summit (Paris, December 10–11, 2025, organized by the Franco-Arab Chamber of Commerce (CCFA) under the high patronage of President Emmanuel Macron), aims to identify concrete cooperation opportunities in technology, energy, infrastructure, and services.

These monthly afterwork gatherings, launched in April 2010, were designed as informal networking evenings and have since become must-attend events for anyone interested in international business.
They’re a great way to stay connected with alumni, expand your professional network, meet new contacts, recruit talent, exchange ideas about your activities, spot potential business synergies and engage with fellow entrepreneurs from all sectors. They usually take place on the second Tuesday of the month at the HÔTEL MELIA VENDÔME, which welcomes us in its bar-lounge area.
