The HEC UK Governance Club is delighted to invite you to a webinar:

How does a company director navigate the sustainability jungle from a strategic perspective?

With Laurence Mulliez

Tuesday 8th June 2021

12-1pm (London Time) / 1-2pm (Paris Time)

Online

What are the key advantages of “Corporate Sustainability” and how can boards balance the benefits of being a “good company” with maximising returns for shareholders?

The event will approach the board’s role on corporate sustainability:

  • Some investors understand that performance on ESG factors increasingly affects long-term profitability;
  • Most CEOs now recognise that ESG issues should inform their corporate strategy;
  • However environmental terminology remains akin to an “alphabet soup” of terms that can often be misused, creating an unnecessary risk of “greenwashing”.

The event will be moderated by Nathalie Romang (H. 96) and Alexis Grabar (MBA.02), Founders of HEC UK Governance Club.
