HEC UK Art club - Japanese calligraphy workshop with Kayoko Hirabayashi
The HEC Art UK team is delighted to invite you to meet Kayoko Hirabayashi and take part in a Japanese calligraphy workshop, in-person, on May 5th, 2022.
This immersive experience with Kayoko-san is a unique opportunity to learn more about calligraphy through her personal story, see her demonstrating her art and try yourself - whether you are a novice or skillful amateur.
Kayoko-san has expressed her honour to be meeting everyone on the day.

About Kayoko Hirabayashi(平林佳代子):
Graduated from Tsuda College in 1977.
50 years of experience in the world of calligraphy
Study under Ozaki Yuho (1924), Person of Cultural Merit
Yomiuri Shohokai Kanji
Nihon Shogei-in Ikkashin
My works are part of Yugen publication, a calligraphy magazine in Japan.
I have had my works displayed at the Tokyo museum of modern art as part of these exhibitions.
I am a member of the parliamentary calligraphy group(由源)
Yugen Qualified calligrapher at Japanese cultural level
Specialist in Kanji (漢字)
