Launch of the HEC UK Governance Club with guest speaker Catherine Bradley!


Join in for the 1st event of the newly created  HEC UK Governance Club, led by UK Alumni Nathalie Romang & Alexis Grabar to support the international development of HEC Gouvernance in Paris:

A rare opportunity to hear Catherine Bradley CBE (H.81) share insights into her diverse and international non-executive career (EasyJet, FCA - 2 terms just now ended, Kingfisher starting Jan. 2021, Peugeot) following 30-years in investment banking based in the US, the UK and Asia (Société Générale, Credit Suisse, Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein, BNP Paribas, UBS, Merrill Lynch).  


Whether you are already a seasoned governance practitioner, or aspire to become one, hear Catherine’s experience and advice to navigate the world of corporate governance across many different sectors (finance, automobile, aviation, consumer goods) and across various jurisdictions.

About the speaker: 

Catherine Bradley, who has French and British citizenship, is currently an independent member of the Supervisory Board of PEUGEOT S.A., where she chairs its Finance and Audit Committee. 

She is also a non-executive director of Johnson Electric Holdings Limited, a Hong Kong listed company, and of easyJet plc where she chairs its Finance Committee. 

Catherine was recently appointed to the board of Kingfisher plc, where she will assume the role of Senior Independent Director from January 2021. 

She recently stepped down as a non-executive director of the Financial Conduct Authority, the UK financial regulator, after serving two three-year terms. 

She was previously a non-executive director of WS Atkins plc.


Before embarking on her non-executive career, Catherine had a 30-year career in investment banking based in the US, the UK and Asia. 

She was Head of Equity Advisory, Asia Pacific at Société Générale from 2013 to 2014, and held a variety of roles at Credit Suisse from 2003 to 2012 in London and Hong Kong, where for the last four years she was Managing Director of the Equity Linked Solutions Group, Asia Pacific. 

Prior to joining Credit Suisse, Catherine held senior roles with Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein, BNP Paribas, UBS and Merrill Lynch.

She was appointed a Commander of the Order of the British Empire in June 2019.

Catherine Bradley graduated from HEC Paris in 1981 (major in Finance and International Affairs).
