HEC UK Green Club and HEC UK Tech Club are deligthed to invite you to a panel and networking on: GREEN TECH FOR IMPACT! Discover examples of tangible impact from tech solutions in carbon footprint assessment, circular fashion, biodiversity credits, and household energy management!Wednesday 6th March 2024 at 7:00pm HEC UK House, 43 Parker Street WC2B 5PSThe challenges posed by climate change and the loss of biodiversity are broad and call for multiple solutions in all sectors of activity. The HEC in the UK Green Club and Tech club are delighted to present this event in which 4 entrepreneurs will discuss the innovative technologies they have developed to tackle key environmental challenges from very different angles, and the impact they are hoping to have. We will hear from:Hasna Kourda, Founder and CEO at Save Your Wardrobe Winner of the LVMH Innovation Award 2023,  Save Your Wardrobe aims to ignite systemic change in the fashion industry through tech-enabled care and repair at scale. Their Repair and Care infrastructure platform enables the seamless booking and management of aftercare services at scale both in store and online.Corinne Bach, Co-Founder and co-CEO at CarbometrixCorinne is co-founder and co-CEO of Carbometrix, a mission driven company helping financial institutions in private markets monitor their carbon emission performance, engage the companies they finance to build a solid decarbonization path and manage the risks and opportunities associated with the climate transition. Corinne sits on the board of publicly listed company Getlink, formerly Groupe Eurotunnel as an independent director and as the president of the ethics and CSR committee. Corinne is a graduate from Ecole Polytechnique, Telecom Paris and holds an MBA from INSEAD.Robert Gardner, CEO and Co-founder at Rebalance EarthRobert is a fund manager investing in Nature restoration to protect and restore Nature at scale in the UK. With 25 years of experience as an entrepreneur and investor with a strong sustainability background in pensions and wealth management, Robert committed his career to making money a force for good. He previously served on the Executive Board of St. James's Place, managing £150 billion in investments. He also co-founded Redington and Mallowstreet, two B-Corps in the investment and pensions space and RedSTART, a financial education charity Bryan Charter, Co-founder and CEO at Susy.houseBryan is the CEO of Susy.house - a platform that simplifies the retrofitting of the UK housing stock to reduce its CO2 output. Bryan has mobilised and grown multiple companies in the property sector before establishing his own strategy consultancy. Bryan and the team have launched the Susy.house consumer app which allows any homeowner to get accurate assessments of the impact of home efficiency improvements on their property and energy bills, and can connect them with contractors to deliver upgrades.
