Many companies manually collect their data using shared file or email exchanges. From 2003 to 2010, my role was to establish an iterative method whereby we offered our clients processes and tools to automate their data collections. At the same time, analyzing functional contexts allowed us to identify generic concepts to refine our solutions.
Achievements:
• 9 applications developed and deployed in production

Mediadixit was an analyst firm, conducting press corpus studies to evaluate our customer's image as reflected in the media (written, audiovisual): barometric studies and ad hoc studies for industrial customers , institutional ...
I was responsible for developping data gathering tools (forms, images scanning, databases, queries and analytics) allowing analysts to be more efficient in delivering business-oriented recommendations for our customers.
I initiated and delivered 4 tools along my journey at Mediadixit :
* Khodif : a form editor allowing Data Analysts to design forms in order to translate all media materials to structured data, thus establishing an analysis referential. Forms could contain any type of data (raw text, date/time, BLOB objects, calculations). App was developped using Borland Delphi. Data were initially stored in a legacy 4D Database, which I ultimately moved to SQL Server.
* Khobase : a database frontend allowing data analysts to browse datasets in a friendly way. App was developped using Borland Delphi.
* KhoDash : a dashboard generation module, allowing Data Analysts to create dashboards template in excel, then refresh data from Khobase. Dashboards could be exported in Excel ou Powerpoint. App was developped in Borland Delphi with COM/OLE interface to remotely manage Excel/Poweroint instances.
* KhoCheck : a data quality module, allowing Data Analysts to define data check rules in Khobase Data sets, then perform the rules and logging all inconsistent records. The Analysts could then easily update records.
