Robin Hood Ventures is an angel investment group based in the Philadelphia area, focusing on early-stage companies, particularly in technology, healthcare, and life sciences. The group provides capital, mentorship, and strategic guidance to startups, helping them scale and succeed. As a partner and investor, I actively participate in evaluating investment opportunities, conducting due diligence, and supporting portfolio companies.

In this role I oversaw the global Marketing and communication, Market Access, Clinical, and RA/QA teams from our New York offices. I played a pivotal role in scaling up the organization, driving its transition from an innovative start-up to a structured, growth-oriented MedTech company. I leveraged my deep expertise in Health Economics, Market Access, and Medical Affairs to establish a robust foundation for commercialization in the U.S. market

StarkAge Therapeutics is a pioneering biotechnology company based in Lille, France, founded in 2018 by Dr. Thierry Mathieu with scientific support from Dr. Müge Ogrunc. The company focuses on developing targeted therapies to eliminate disease-specific senescent cells, aiming to delay or halt the progression of age-related diseases and improve patients' quality of life. Their proprietary platform, ExoCise™, enables the identification of senescent cell biomarkers from patient-derived extracellular vesicles, facilitating the development of precise immunotherapies. StarkAge's lead program, STX-1, targets the DPP4 (CD26) protein overexpressed in senescent cells, with promising preclinical results in liver and prostate cancer models. The company has received significant support, including a €2 million non-dilutive grant from Bpifrance's Deeptech program in 2021 and a €1.2 million fundraising round in 2024 to advance STX-1's development.
