David Abraham

I am a passionate and driven graduate from HEC Paris, where I was also the Chief Investment Officer of the HEC Investment Club, leading a team of 50 students in managing a real-money portfolio. I hold a CFA charter and a BA in Finance and Investment from ITESM, one of the top universities in Mexico.

With more than six years of experience in the investment management industry, I have developed strong skills in fundamental equity and credit analysis, financial modeling, portfolio construction, and market research. Most recently, I was a Senior Associate at SURA Investment Management, heading the research team in Mexico and achieving a positive alpha of over 100bps on the model portfolio for two consecutive years. Previously, I was a Senior Analyst at BlackRock, where I oversaw USD 1bn AUM in corporate bonds and achieved a track record of zero defaults.

I am motivated by the challenge of finding and executing value-creating investment opportunities in bottom-up analysis, as well as by the opportunity to learn from and collaborate with diverse and talented professionals. My goal is to leverage my MBA education and my investment experience to pursue a career in global asset management, where I can contribute to the growth and performance of the firm and its clients.
