Please come and join our first 2017 Wine Tasting organised in partnership with Vinoa (wine start-up) and the Neoma Wine and Champagne Club
EXCLUSIVE WINE TASTING WITH VINOA | WED, 8th FEBRUARY | LANSDOWNE CLUB
Cyrus Tchahardehi and Gregoire Frileux, cofounders of the successful start-up Vinoa, will join us to deliver their most popular class “How to taste wine?”. Throughout the evening, they will share their expertise and give an overview of the technical skills used in a professional tasting. The wine tasting will cover a large spectrum of grape varieties and wines (Red/White, New/Old World, Biodynamic/Organic Wines) making the class suitable to beginners or connoisseurs.
Date: Wednesday, 08 February 2017
Time: 8PM – 10.00PM, Registration starts at 7.30PM.
Venue: Lansdowne Club - 9 Fitzmaurice Place, W1J 5JD (2-min walk from Green Park station)
Dress Code: Jacket for men compulsory + no jeans or trainers allowed (https://www.lansdowneclub.com/club-rules/)
Format: Standing wine tasting with provision of glasses. Canapes will be served during the event.
Participation: £20.00 per person

CYRUS TCHAHARDEHI: Cyrus has over 20 years’ experience in the wine trade. He studied wine in Montagne St Emilion (Bordeaux). Cyrus also headed the wine department at the prestigious Partridges of Kensington, representing wine estates from around the world. He worked with many star sommeliers and restaurant groups before becoming UK director for large Burgundy group Boisset. Cyrus has the tough job of tasting over hundreds of wines every month and visiting vineyards to ensure that you get nothing but spectacular wines.
GREGOIRE FRILEUX: Greg studied engineering at Supelec School of Paris, where he first discovered wine and started the school’s first ever wine society. At Vinoa Greg is kept busy by managing the monthly bottling process of the wines included in the Vinoa wine boxes and it’s his engineering skills that have enabled Vinoa to be the only business in the UK to use the unique Anaerobic technology.
