Digital revolution, the rise of startups with agile business models and fast growth, a Millennial generation with different expectations of work and workplace: How is the Consulting sector affected by these global tends? What is the new skillset for the consultant of today?
HEC MBA Consulting Club will bring together 4 senior consultants from AT Kearney, PWC UK, Accuracy and Fenrix to share their views about the major disrupting trends that the consulting sector is experiencing, going through an era where digital is reshaping society, business models and the wider economy.

About the panellists:
  • Anthony Theau-Laurent (H.03), Partner, Accuracy
Anthony Theau-Laurent is a partner in Accuracy’s forensics, litigation and arbitration practice and is based in London. He has over 15 years of professional experience, providing advice and independent expertise on business, valuation and accounting matters in the context of disputes, transactions and multi-jurisdictional frauds. Anthony has been appointed as expert witness in commercial and investment treaty arbitrations as well as in English High Court proceedings, and has given oral evidence in disputes with claims amounting to several billion US dollars. He has particular expertise in the assessment of damages arising from, inter alia, breaches of commercial contracts, shareholder agreements, expropriation, construction delays and fraud. Anthony also leads financial investigations in relation to allegations of fraud, bribery and corruption, tax evasion and money laundering and regularly advises organisations seeking to acquire or divest businesses. Much of Anthony’s work in recent years has been in an international context, involving situations in the United Kingdom, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, North America and Asia. Anthony holds a Master of Sciences degree in management from HEC School of Management in Paris.
  • John Baltay (MBA.96), Managing Director, Fenrix
John is Managing Director of Fenrix which he founded in 2009 to help CEOs and leadership teams drive growth for their organisations. John and his team have led over 50 major strategy assignments for large multi-nationals across Europe and Asia. Prior to Fenrix, John held several Managing Director roles at GE Capital in the Commercial Finance and Capital Solutions businesses. He has also held director level roles for large international companies such as Alstom and Parametric Technology Corporation. At Booz Allen Hamilton, John led several projects covering IT strategy and post merger integration assignments. John’s career has been focused on building robust marketing to deliver customer value and providing strategic insight for growing market share. John holds an MBA from HEC in Paris, France as well as a BA in History from NYU. He is fluent in English, French and German; has lived and worked in 5 European countries as well as the US and is currently based in the UK.

  • Matthieu Prieuret, Director, PWC UK
Matthieu joined PwC in December 2013 with 12 years financial services industry experience designing and delivering transformational change for banking and capital markets organisations. Before joining PwC, Matthieu was a London based management consultant, first with Capco, a capital markets consulting firm and then with Smart, a financial services business advisory firm (now Grant Thornton). Throughout his career, Matthieu managed a number of strategic initiatives for tier one financial institutions across Europe, America, and Asia. Matthieu holds an International Diploma Master of Science in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Imperial College, London, and is an engineer from the leading French ‘Grande École’ SUPELEC.
