Purpose-driven, transformative leadership for global impact

Covid-19 and the ensuing lockdowns around the world have tested our humanity at very profound levels.

The last few years have been characterised by disruption, not just in terms of our business, personal and social lives, but also in terms of what defines global leadership and the issues we face, both individual and collectively, into the future.  Constant change is now the norm, yet it’s imperative as leaders that we find a way to maintain our equilibrium in the face of uncertainty.

This requires a mental agility and comfort with change that enables us to reinvent ourselves as leaders that can still have phenomenal impact on those around us.  We need creative ways to reinvent our performance and ensure that we can continue to excel in an ever-changing world.  Critically, we need to understand that transformation starts deep within ourselves if we are to hope to bring about transformation in the world around us too.

Caroline Watson has been developping a model for using the Arts as an empowerment tool for migrants and refugee women to develop their leadership skills and is now applying this approach for consulting at a business and government level.

In this workshop, she will give us a taste of her approach, introducing ‘Frozen Pictures’ as a way to bring collective intelligence to regaining our sense of purpose and entrepreneurial leadership in a post-Covid world.

Key tangible tools:

  • Learn how to keep your inner balance whilst everything around you changes
  • Understand your core identity as distinct to the roles you play
  • How to bring collective intelligence through ‘Frozen Pictures’ to the challenges we face today
  • How to harness the power of feminine leadership to bring about transformation at the individual, societal and global level.
  • Seek for solutions using the power of collaboration and teamwork
  • Build an understanding and awareness of your role in ‘building back better’ after the pandemic
  • Be inspired by Caroline’s work in using the arts and other transformative learning tools to inspire purpose-driven and action-oriented impact

Workshop: Purpose-driven: Transformative Leadership

Phygital interactive workshop (both on site and online) facilitated by Caroline Watson

Tuesday, January 25th, 12:15pm French Time

About Caroline Watson:

Caroline Watson is a serial entrepreneur with a background in using the arts and creative education for transformative leadership development.  She set up her first enterprise, Hua Dan, in China, empowering over 30,000 migrant women and children to develop valuable life skills and personal leadership to overcome the challenges of migration.  In recognition of her work in China, Caroline was selected as a Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum and chaired the Forum’s first Global Agenda Council on the Role of the Arts in Society.

In recent years, Caroline has been developing a scaleable model for using the arts as an empowerment tool for migrant and refugee women, as well as working with senior leaders in business and government to develop their leadership potential through her consulting work.  She is now focused on building a Centre for the Arts and Leadership in the Parisian countryside and developing her Act for Impact brand of transformative leadership coaching.

We will be happy to welcome you to that event, wherever you are in the world. Make sure you have access to camera and mic as you will be asked to turn them on for breakout sessions.

This event is open to all (the more diverse a crowd, the better !) so feel free to invite anyone that could be interested to join the session.
