HEC Wine Club UK - Leoville Las Cases Masterclass (St Julien)
Dear HEC Alumni,
The HEC Wine Club UK would like to invite you to an exceptional wine tasting withChâteau Léoville Las Cases (Domaines Delon), one of the most prestigious bordeaux wines, on the2nd of Octoberat KleinwortHambros’s office on St James’s Square.
The Domaines Delon are the prominent owner of several wine-producing estates in the Bordeaux region, in particular classified second growth Léoville Las Cases.
Léoville Las Cases is one of the largest and oldest classified growths in the Médoc and without doubt the leading estate in St-Julien. The 97 hectares of vineyards are superbly sited on gravelly-clay soils with the largest plot being surrounded by a stone wall and stretching between the village of St-Julien and Château Latour.
Léoville Las Cases produces exotically perfumed and Cabernet Sauvignon-dominated wines that should please the members of the HEC Wine Club.
Antoine Gimbert, manager for Europe & Americas, will host our wine tasting and introduce our HEC Alumni community to the St Julien terroir as well as Pomerol. We will have the opportunity to taste exceptional wines and vintages selected by Antoine, such as Château Nenin (Pomerol), Château Potensac (Medoc), Château Clos du Marquis in addition to Château Léoville Las Cases.
We also thank Sophie André from Elysia for the provision a top-class selection of canapés to the attendants of the wine tasting.
