As we write this edito, the UK House is buzzing with the energy of women entrepreneurs, gathered here thanks to HEC Paris Innovation and Entrepreneurship Institute and French Tech London. There is something truly special about this kind of momentum—ambition, collaboration, and new ideas taking shape in real-time.
March was no exception to this spirit of innovation. We hosted the Grand Pitch Night, a fantastic showcase of entrepreneurial talent, and welcomed 170 students from HEC Paris—from the Launchpad programme and the Master in Data Science for Business.

Every year, the HEC Paris Office in the UK organises a dynamic Learning Expedition in London, bringing together over 140 aspiring entrepreneurs from the HEC Startup Launchpad program. This is a unique accelerator programme that supports green entrepreneurs at the early stages of their journey. The program is designed to support selected ventures to further build on their impact-oriented solutions, and prepare them for pitching and fundraising from impact investors and philanthropists.
The 6-month online programme equips women entrepreneurs with unique resources and capabilities to innovate and grow their businesses by providing coaching, visibility, technical support, exposure and access to a network of stakeholders and global partners.
Since last year, the Mercure HEC awards are segmented by major geographical areas, according to the locations of alumni around the world. Europe is one of the 8 geographical areas that will be awarded a specific Mercure HEC.
