HEC Companionship for a Purposeful Career Program 2026
What if a senior student, with whom you have no hierarchical relationship, were at your side to challenge you in your managerial stance and the questions you are currently asking yourself about your career? What if you too could help this young person face the questions they are asking and find their own answers, discovering their "Purposeful Leadership" at the same time? What if, together, you took another step towards building or consolidating a fulfilling career?
This is the Eotekum® Mentoring approach, pioneered by Hubert de Boisredon (H.86) and Louis Faure (H.17) for over seven years: an original lever for deploying "Purposeful Leadership" based on free, reciprocal support between different people to help each other act with greater courage and consistency.
In 2026, the Purpose Center of the HEC Paris “Sustainability & Organizations” Institute and the HEC Alumni Association are continuing their partnership with Eotekum, the firm founded by Hubert de Boisredon and Louis Faure, to support the 5th cohort of 60 pairs of students and alumni in experiencing “intergenerational mentoring.” The primary goal of this program is to train students in “Purposeful Leadership,” but also to offer alumni a unique and inspiring space for reflection that is likely to set them in motion, in a new way, in their professional lives.
Concretely:
A 3-month program (from mid-January to mid-April 2026).
60 student/alumni pairs formed following an online matching process.
3 hours of briefing between alumni beforehand (and 9 hours of classes for students).
3 x 2-hour sessions/training in Purposeful Leadership and Mentoring with both students and alumni, in two classes of 30 pairs.
Regular one-on-one exchanges with your student-mentor during this period.
An innovative methodology designed by Louis Faure (H.17) and Hubert de Boisredon (H.86) based on their own experience in intergenerational Mentoring and the support of more than 170 pairs with Eotekum.
Cutting-edge academic contributions from the Purpose Center of the HEC Sustainability & Organizations Institute (S&O), delivered by Professor Rodolphe Durand.
The training program is conducted in English and preferably in person, but it is possible to participate in sessions/trainings/briefings remotely.
It is intended for alumni with at least five years of professional experience.

Verbatim:
Benoît (H.95)
“Entering into a mentorship with an unknown student means agreeing to trust, letting go, daring to appear vulnerable, and allowing yourself to be moved by the kind but demanding gaze of another. I drew inspiration for a broader and more impactful life mission, and the joy of meeting a wonderful person in a deep and genuine exchange between peers.”
Anne-Sophie (H.97)
“Companionship, or reciprocal mentoring, gave me the opportunity to take a step back and share about life and career choices. Knowing how to make consistent and purposeful decisions is essential at every stage of life. Open intergenerational dialogue and respectful mentoring help everyone find their way.”
