Exceptional Wine Tasting with Château Pavie (St Emilion Grand Cru Classé )
Dear HEC Alumni,
The HEC Wine Club UK would like to invite you to an exceptional wine tasting with Château Pavie, the largest St.Emilion 1er Grand Cru Classé A, on the 7th of June at the Royal Automobile Club (Pall Mall) in the prestigious St James’s Room.
Château Pavie is an estate with 37 hectares of undivided vineyards with exceptional terroir, located exclusively on the St-Emilion Côtes. An autodidact, Gérard Perse has owned Château Paviesince 1998 and turned Château Pavie into a leader in viticulture and wine tourism.
Château Pavie's wine is typically a blend of a majority of Merlot with additional Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. Pavie produces elegant, harmonious and stylish St-Emilions that typically display a fine bouquet with good depth of fruit on the palate that will please the members of the HEC Wine Club.
Philippe Develay, managing director of Château Pavie and HEC alumni (MBA86), will host our wine tasting and introduce our HEC Alumni community to a selection of Gerard Perse’s wines. We will have the opportunity to taste exceptional wines and vintages selected by Philippe, such as Château Pavie, Arômes de Pavie, as well as Chateau Monbousquet.
