About Christian Monjou:
Christian Monjou was, from September 1973 to June 1976, a Senior Scholar of Worcester College, Oxford and was awarded an M. Phil with congratulatory viva for his post graduate work on modernism in early 20th century British and American literatures.
Recently retired, Christian taught for 26 years in the French “Classes Preparatoires” system which leads to the elite “Grandes Ecoles”. He was also an associate lecturer at the Ecole Normale Supérieure (Ulm) where he prepared students for the “agrégation”.
Influential people in French business and politics, but also in European institutions have gracefully acknowledged the importance of his teaching in their training. He was part of the first team that worked with the Institut du Management EDF to define the method of “detour culturel”.
Borrowing examples from visual arts, the theatre or opera, Christian is regularly invited by different firms (Clarins, HSBC, Areva, Arkema, Total, Hermès, Shell, Abbvie etc...) to approach subjects like leadership, innovation, inter-cultural dialogue, crisis and discernment, organizations etc...
He appears regularly in HEC Executive Education programs and is an “expert reference” for APM and GERME (two French organizations gathering leaders and managers in clubs).
