• Lead and manage the Purchasing Operational Management Unit at the European Investment Bank (EIB), overseeing a team of 10 professionals.

I am in charge for the business development of our healthcare group mainly outside of Italy with a special focus on France, Germany and Middle East regions

• Managing a small team of 2 external staff members who support the team in the procurement support tasks;
• Managing the whole portfolio (+300) of IT contracts (annual budget €180 M) from sourcing to procurement to partnership enhancement;
• Leading strategic procurement procedures, negotiating and reviewing IT contracts up to €300 M each overall value (software, hardware, consultancy, other financial services) striving for the best value for money;
• Improving and advising procurement and sourcing strategies, policies and procedures.

• Recommended tender’s selection mainly related to IT and logistic/ transportation services;
• Optimised the purchase process by actively negotiating important discounts (overall annual average savings of 20%);
• Chaired meetings to provide information to military companies about the business opportunities with NSPA;
• Spoke as NSPA representative during conferences/ meetings with the military industry and ministry's representatives;
• Support the President of the Audit Advisory Panel to prepare Panel´s meeting by collecting the audits´ results in close cooperation with the internal auditors;
• Created financial analysis concerning branch business;
• Developed marketing and communication strategies about NATO Trust Fund projects.

• Lobbied the EU Institutions and produced more than 60 amendments to the Research and Development EU dossier;
• Contributed to the diplomatic relations between Veneto Region, Bavaria and Carinthia through lobbying activities that led to the signature of EUREGIO partnership.
