Gande started his career in 1992, in Sales/Distribution within the French modern Trade, responsible for well-known Wines & Spirit Brands.
He then joined Colgate-Palmolive in 1996 and held several marketing roles, mainly across Africa and France / French Oversea territories.
In 2005, he decided to take an active role in the booming African Telecom industry, working with global leading Groups, such as Celtel (Bharti Airtel) and MTN, as Marketing & Sales Director.
During his time with Etisalat, as Group CCO, he was part of a senior management team that effected an impressive turnaround of a Holding entity that operated in a complex governance structure and extremely challenging markets.
He demonstrated a clear ability to move from operational to more strategic perspective with a good command of the dashboard and transversal view. He is credited as being in the frontline in the growth of Revenues and Profitability, as well as acting as a real agent of change and support to his Operations Commercial teams.
He now supports his clients in setting up and implementing their Marketing and Customer Value Management Strategies.
