MEET JEREMY BAS (M.12), OUR NEW EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Formerly President of our Young Graduate group and leader of the HEC Factory project, Jeremy aims to position HEC Alumni as a premium content provider for HEC’s alumni community whatever their age and wherever they are based.

The permanent team has been reshuffled slightly to correspond with new priorities for HEC Alumni. The content team has been strengthened, the French and international network teams have merged to reinforce our global ambitions, our IT service will temporarily increase to support the forthcoming CRM project…

INTERNATIONALIZING HEC ALUMNI’S GOVERNING ORGANS

Following this year’s AGM, Mehdi Amine El Fichtali (H.01), based in Dubai and President of our GCC Chapter, and Nathalie Gaveau (H.99), based in London and one of HEC Alumni’s representatives on the HEC Paris Board, both joined the Committee, HEC Alumni’s highest governing organ. They join Hao Guan (MBA.87), former President of the Shanghai Chapter and 19 other elected representatives who decide on HEC Alumni’s strategy.

A JOINT MBA CLASS REUNION

For the first time ever, MBA classes celebrating a milestone anniversary were invited on campus with their families for a joint class reunion. The day included a welcome from Andrea Masini and Valerie Gauthier, a campus tour, barbecue lunch, games and a gala dinner at Westin Paris Hotel.

3 DOUBLE MASTER’S DEGREES WITH YALE, HKUST & FGV

From September 2018, double degree programs with Yale School of Management, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and FGV Escola de Administração de Empresas will allow students to pursue two separate masters from two leading business schools in two different countries.

NOBEL PRIZE WINNER ERIC MASKIN ON CAMPUS, 18/09

HEC Paris is honored to welcome Eric Maskin, Adams University Professor at Harvard and recipient of 2007 Nobel Prize in Economics, for a lecture on "Improving French and American presidential elections". Professor Eric Maskin will be awarded the title of "HEC Paris Professor Honoris Causa".

MBA SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS CEREMONY

During their commencement week, more than 60 students from the MBA program were invited to attend a scholarship awards ceremony with Associate Dean, Andrea Masini and Major Donor, Pierre-Yves Cros, Chief Development Officer of CapGemini UK. Two scholarship students from the January intake took the opportunity to share their HEC experience with the group.
